How to use

Enable Slack integration in Simpplr
Install the Simpplr for Slack app
For sharing Simpplr content and feed posts to Slack, authenticate with Slack in My Settings in Simpplr
For unfurling shared Simpplr content links, authenticate with Salesforce in Slack via Connect option after pasting the same in a channel

Steps to install Slack

As an app manager
You can navigate to Manage > Application > Integration > Messaging, where you will find the option to install the Slack app. This will enable Slack across the entire organization.
As a user
You can install the Slack app by going to My Profile > External App. This will allow you to post to Slack.
As an app manager or site manager
You can configure a Slack channel to receive content automatically. To enable this you can navigate to a particular site and click on Manage site and navigate to External apps, where you will find the option to enable Slack and select a channel.

Please enter your Simpplr’s URL in the box below. Additional instructions can be found in the "Install Simpplr for Slack" section.
Once the dashboard URL has been provided and you click on "Install" button, you will be prompted to log in if you have not already done so. After logging in, you will be directed to the page to install Slack.
Here, you will find an option to connect with Slack. Clicking on the "Connect account" button will prompt you to provide your Slack credentials. After providing the correct credentials, your Slack account will be linked to your profile.

Install Simpplr for Slack

Installing Simpplr for Slack is easy but it needs to be enabled and approved first by an App Manager. If you are unsure about this speak to a manager or contact Simpplr.
